FinchDeal ("we", "us") operates finchdeal.com. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
This site is a set of static pages. We don't run our own analytics, we don't build profiles, and we don't keep a log of who clicked what. We never see your name, address or payment details at any point.
When you click a product link, the redirect passes a tracking identifier to the affiliate network that tells them which page the click came from. That identifier describes the page, not you.
Cookies
We set one cookie, to remember that you've dismissed the cookie notice. We set no advertising or tracking cookies of our own.
If you sign up for price-drop emails, we store the address you give us with our email provider, use it only to send the alerts you asked for, and delete it when you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Third parties
Clicking a product link takes you to the merchant's website through an affiliate network (Kelkoo Group, and other networks for some merchants). Those networks and the merchant set their own cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies once you leave this site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes request data to serve the pages.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority. For the email list, unsubscribing deletes your address.
